The Moon Rises

Description

An epic metal cover of Ponyphonic 's "The Moon Rises". I loved Ponyphonic's work on this song, it's very dramatic and operatic, but I couldn't help thinking "this needs a wicked guitar solo in it". So I recorded a cover version, with a guitar solo. And then I decided to try singing it, because it's an incredibly fun song to sing (as almost all villainous songs are!). This is also the first thing I've recorded since replacing the pickups in my guitar with DiMarzios, and also since getting a copy of EWQL's Symphonic Choirs, which is more fun than it has any right to be... All lead vocals, guitars, bass, drum programming, orchestral programming and choir programming by me (The L-Train). Music written by Ponyphonic of course, and Luna / Nightmare Moon and MLP:FiM is owned by Hasbro.
