Description

This is for Dandelion's AI music challenge over at MLPF: https://mlpforums.com/topic/199687-dandelions-ai-music-challenge/ I thought it would be interesting so I wanted to try too! It's a bit on the shorter end so consider this a short demo. Maybe I might extend it but that will depend on how impulsive I feel! Just something quick and for fun! AI was used to assist in the creation of this tune rather than make the whole thing for me. Going into DNB territory since it's my fav :P I am NOT personally affiliated with any of the creators of these products, I simply used them and if anyone wants to know what was used well I'm listing it to make it a bit easier to find if it interests them. Some of these are a bit redundant but it's just me trying them out cuz why not? Here's everything that was used! Instruments: - DDSP Synth (AI; free) - Thenatan BRAIN (not AI but does randomly generate sounds plus I hadn't yet touched it until now; used for mid-range bass) - Xfer Serum (random riser preset) - Fruity 3x Osc (comes with FL Studio; used for simple sub bass layer) - SessionLoops DrumNet (AI; I used the free version and didn't have to sign up to use it, just ignored the login prompt and used it that way. i didn't use the built-in sequencer and made the drums directly on the piano roll) Effects (take a guess where these were used if you want): - Fruity Parametric EQ 2 - Fruity Balance - Fruity Reeverb - Fruity Phaser - Lese Sweep - 2B Played 2B Controlled - Sonnox Oxford Inflator - Softube Saturation Knob - SPL Transient Designer Plus - Kilohearts Limiter - Sonible smartComp2 (AI) - Izotope Ozone 9 (AI) - Izotope Neoverb (AI) - Baby Audio Pitch Drift Monitoring: - Direct Approach SpecTrend - Voxengo SPAN - MeldaProduction MStereoScope - Built-in FL metering plus some sound effects, one shots and ear candy from various sample packs thrown around All produced, mixed & mastered within FL Studio 21. Well, in an organized chaos kind of way. Just as I like it!
