I was approached by him a while back to throw down some vocals on a song he was working on, and overall, I think it turned out very well! Japkozjad is a seriously talented dude who I've wanted to work with for a good while, and I'm so happy we finally managed to make it happen! This song is a dive into the feelings of bittersweet nostalgia that we all sometimes face, and how we can struggle to overcome our sometimes all-consuming desire to return to a past kept fondly in our memories. This theme hits home for me, as I'm especially prone to taking long nostalgia trips and reminiscing frequently about the past.
