This is a ponified parody of "Circle of Life" by Elton John. For as long as they can remember, the Auroricorns of Starlight Ridge were ruled by Allura, a villainous snow leopard. The rule of the village stated that whoever possessed the Nova Charm was leader of the village, and even though Violet Frost seemed to organize the group, she wasn't the true leader. They were stuck doing the same routine every day: being put under her spell and pulling down stars from the sky until they found the one star that Allura needed. It was monotonous for sure. Thankfully, the Mane 6 came at just the right time and freed them from Allura's spell. And as Comet describes in this track, doing the same thing as a routine was becoming a bit much. This is one of the most emotional and powerful parodies I've ever written, but it's also one of my favorites as a true freedom song for the Auroricorns.
